Day 01: Beijing.
On arrival in Beijing you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 02: Beijing (B.L).
This morning we visit China’s largest public square, walking through the gate of Heavenly Peace to enter into the Imperial Palace and the Forbidden City, where 22 Emperors ruled China since the 15 century. Sightseeing inside of the Forbidden City includes the front halls, Imperial garden and some of the most beautiful imperial treasure collections. After lunch we continue to the Temple of Heaven, the place where emperors went to pray and to show appreciation for the good harvest. (Optional visiting to the Silk Store after lunch).
Day 03: Beijing – Great Wall (B.L)
Today we visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Great Wall of China. We take the two hour journey from Beijing and on arrival begin the tour with the way of Spirit, the gate of to the Ming Tombs. After lunch we spend the afternoon at the Great Wall. (Optional visiting to the traditional handcraft - the Cloisonne Factory).
Day 04: Beijing (B.L)
This morning we begin our sightseeing with a short stop at the Beijing Zoo to visit the one of China’s national treasures, the Giant Panda. Continue on to the Summer Palace and take a boat trip on the Kunming Lake, the biggest man made lake in Beijing. We then visit the Old part of the city and walk through the winding alleys along Shi sha Lake. Transfer to the railway station to take the overnight train to Xian. Overnight: Soft sleeper class. Train No.Z19, 20:28/07:58(overnight).
Day 05: Xian (B.L)
Arrive Xian early morning and transfer to hotel. After breakfast we visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors, one of the most amazing sites in the world. These 6000 life size warriors and horses were first discovered in 1974 and are one of the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Later today we visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most famous Buddhism temples in China. We then walk the old streets of the Muslim area and visit the Grand Mosque.
Day 06: Xian – Guilin (B.L)
This morning we take a short walk on the Ancient city wall one of the best preserved in China and late roam on the Shuyuanmen old street, which has many small stores selling Chinese calligraphy, classic painting, rice paper etc. Transfer to the airport for flight to Guilin, transfer to your hotel on arrival. Later in the evening visit the bustling evening market along the Li River. Flight HU7829,Xian/Guilin, 1715/1855, ( Subject to change).
Day 07: Guilin (B.L)
Today we discover the natural beauty of this stunning area. We visit to Dragon Bone Mountain in Longshen, then on to Pinan Yao village. Continue on to a Yao minority village and visit a local family. En route we will see the famous rice terraces and rice fields that cling to the side of the mountains. On the return to Guilin we stop at a local market.
Day 08: Guilin- Yangshou (B.L)
This morning we will enjoy a 4hr cruise on the Li River. Lunch served on the boat before we arrive at the small town of Yangshuo. The afternoon is free to explore this picturesque town.
Day 09: Yangshou (B.L)
Today you have the opportunity to take a bike along the Yulong River and visit a local village. Enjoy lunch in the countryside. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 10: Gulin – Shanghai (B.L)
Take the flight from Guilin to Shanghai. On arrival visit the People’s square and the Shanghai museum. Flight CZ3251,Guilin/Shanghai, 1155/1400 (Subject to change).
Day 11: Shanghai – Suzhou (B.L)
Today we take a one hour train trip from Shanghai to Suzhou. Here we visit the stunning Fishing Net Master garden. We continue to a silk spinning factory. After lunch we visit the Luzi water village and take a boat on the narrow canal. Return by train to Shanghai. Train Shanghai/Suzhou, T710, 0900/0948,Train Suzhou/Shanghai T717, 1937/2034.
Day 12: Shanghai (B.L)
Today we visit the Jade Buddha temple and area knows as the Bund. After lunch we continue to the Pudong area, and Shanghai’s TV Tower with its 243 Meter platform. Visit the Old town, a good place for shopping.
Day 13: Shanghai (B)
Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
