Day 01: Beijing.
On arrival in Beijing you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 02: Beijing (B,L).
This morning we visit China’s largest public square, walking through the gate of Heavenly Peace to enter into the Imperial Palace and the Forbidden City, where 22 Emperors ruled China since the 15 century. Sightseeing inside of the Forbidden City includes the front halls, Imperial garden and some of the most beautiful imperial treasure collections. After lunch we continue to the Temple of Heaven, the place where emperors went to pray and to show appreciation for the good harvest. (Optional visiting to the Silk Store after lunch).

Day 03: Beijing – Great Wall (B.L)
Today we visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Great Wall of China. We take the two hour journey from Beijing and on arrival begin the tour with the way of Spirit, the gate of to the Ming Tombs. After lunch we spend the afternoon at the Great Wall. (Optional visiting to the traditional handcraft - the Cloisonne Factory).

Day 04: Beijing - Shanghai (B, L)
Today is at leisure to shop or take one of the many optional tours. Transfer to the railway station to take the overnight train to Shanghai. Overnight: Soft sleeper class (4 passengers per cabin). Train, Beijing/Shanghai, Z1, 1928/0726.

Day 05: Shanghai (B, L)
Today we visit the Jade Buddha temple and area knows as the Bund. After lunch we continue to the Pudong area, and Shanghai’s TV Tower with its 243 Meter platform.

Day 06: Shanghai – Suzhou (B, L)
Today we take a one hour train trip from Shanghai to Suzhou. Here we visit the stunning Fishing Net Master garden. We continue to a silk spinning factory. After lunch we visit the Luzi water village and take a boat on the narrow canal, driving back to Shanghai. Train Shanghai/Suzhou Z710, 0900/0948.

Day 07: Shanghai (B)
Today is at leisure.

Day 08: Shanghai (B)
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
