DAY 01: Delhi – Guwahati - Nameeree (230 Kms & 5 hrs)
Assistance upon arrival at Guwahati airport and transfer to the Nameeree. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02: Nameeree – Dirang (2430m) (140 Kms & 06 hrs)
After breakfast depart for Dirang via Bomdila, crossing the checkpoint at Bhalukpong to enter Arunachal Pradesh. Continue drive to reach Bomdila, upon arrival visit His Eminence Tsona Gontse Rinpoche (The Master of Vinaya) heads the Gaden Rabgyel-ling Monastery in Bomdila, the most prominent, Buddhist Institution of the region.
Visit the monastery and if possible, also have an audience with Him. Further drive to Dirang. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 03: Dirang – Tawang (3400m) (160 kms & 07 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Tawang though Sela Pass which is one of the highest motor able road in Arunachal Pradesh, stop by Jang waterfall and Jaswantgarh . Further drive to Tawang. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 04: Tawang
Tawang is the land of Monpa tribes and the major centre of Mahayana Buddhism. After breakfast full day excursion of Tawang Monastery. The 300-year-old Monastery is considered to be the oldest and the second largest Monastery in Asia after Lhasa in Tibet . The Monastery is standing on the spur of a hill over 12,000 ft above sea level. Overlooking the wide valley and surrounded on all sides by towering mountains. Twelve kilometers on the north west of Tawang is the Brandung Chung Ani Gompa, the monastery of the nuns. Visit Tawang Monastery 400 years old study centre of Mahayana Buddhism and the Museum. Guru Rinpoche is said to have visited this area during the 8th century.
Also visit the Bramadungchung Aani Gompa (12 kilometres) and Gyangong Gompa, the monastery of the nuns. Also visit the birthplace of His Holiness 06th Dalai Lama at Urgyenling. Overnight at Tourist Lodge.
Day 05: Tawang – Bomdila (190 Kms & 07 hrs)
Today we will drive toward Bomdile, headquarter of the West Kameng district. En route visit the Singsur Ani Gopa, a nunnery and the Monyul Co-operative Society for the beautifully handcrafted and hand-woven souvenirs. We will continue further towards Jang for the scenic waterfall near powerhouse hydel.
Continue further and visit the Jaswant Garh, 1962 Indo-China war memorial built in memory of one brave Indian soldier named Jaswant, who fought alone and managed to stop Chinese army for 72 hours before sacrificing himself. 17 kilometres ahead is the Sela Pass (14000-ft) which runs through the small ridge and along the placid lake called Paradise Lake . Enjoy your presence at the highest point in Arunachal Pradesh.
We will also take an excursion visit in Dhirang, the scenic spot where we will visit the monastery where His Holiness the Dalai Lama initiated the Kalachakra . There is also a natural Hot Spring for those who need some natural healing touch . Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.Day 06 : Bomdila – Kaziranga Wild Life Sanctuary (250 Kms & 6 hrs)
Early after breakfast depart for Kaziranga. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. After fresh up take game viewing at the park with an Elephant safari . Specialty is the one horned Rhino. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Kaziranga – Guwahati (260 Kms & 5 hrs)
Early after break depart for Guwahati for your flight to onwards destination.
