Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Indore and transfer to Ujjain (70 kms/ 02 hours)
Upon arrival in Indore, get a drive to your hotel in Ujjain.
Indore is the nearest airport for reaching Ujjain.
After relaxing for some time in the hotel, set out to visit the beautiful temples in the city.
You can walk around the city as the temples are located close to each other.
The main attractions you will cover today are Mahakaleshwar temple, Sandipani Ashram, Iskcon temple, Harsiddhi Temple, Ram Ghat, Shakti Peeth, Bade Ganesh Ka Mandir etc.
Attend Bhasm Arti of Mahakaleshwar temple which is considered to be an important act in your Ujjain visit. This arti remains in demand so need to be booked in advance.
Day 2 Ujjain – Omkareshwar (170 kms/ 04 hours)
After breakfast, begin your journey to visit Omkareshwar, another Jyotirlinga temple.
Omkareshwar is another pilgrimage destination in Madhya Pradesh, Central India. Located on the bank of holy Narmada river, the temple derived its name from Hindu god Shiva.
Mamaleshwar temple in Omkareshwar is the actual jyotirlinga temple.
After you enjoy the sights around the temple, choose to indulge in a boat ride in Narmada river.
Stay overnight in Omkareshwar.
Day 3: Omkareshwar – Indore (100 kms/02:30 hours)
After breakfast, proceed to Indore City.
Indore tourist attractions include Chatri Bagh, Gomatgiri temple, Rajwada, Kanch Mandir, Lalbagh Palace etc.
Post your exploration, drive to the airport or railway station for departure.
